Wow! We’ve stayed in several homes along 30A, and this was our favorite so far. Everything about the house was fantastic—it was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed.

We absolutely loved the views and the floor plan. My wife especially enjoyed sipping her coffee on the porch swing each morning while taking in the beautiful scenery. There were plenty of toys and all the gear we needed for the pool and beach, and the beach cart was everything I could have hoped for!

The beach access was perfect, and the kids had a blast fishing from the private pier in the backyard. They even caught several perch using live worms. We also had two days of double-red flags at the beach, so having a private pool was a huge bonus and made those days just as enjoyable.

We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back!

My 3 daughters and my wife and I rent a house every May and October anywhere from Hilton Head to St Augustine Beach and Gulf Shores to Crystal River. We have been in this area between Deer Lake and Easter Lake before. It is a very good location, but we have never had a house on the south side of the lily pond that is accessible from the back yard. There are several paddleboards and a kayak for use. My16 year old grandson enjoyed the fishing from a paddleboard on the pond and caught several bass. The house was well stocked, but there were no hair dryers. When we requested hair dryers they were delivered very quickly for every bathroom. The house has a very nice size swimming pool that was pleasantly warm without it being heated. There are several bicycles for use, a ping pong table and other games and chairs to use on the beach with cart to move them in. Access to the beach is not far. We especially appreciated the air conditioning. It was one of the better ones we experienced in our travels!

My friends and I meet once a year for a “girls trip” at the beach. This is the sixth year we’ve rented Daniel Dunes and just love it! The house has plenty of space with 5 bedrooms, the pool area and backyard are beautiful and well-cared for, and fully equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cart and bicycles. The beach access is close by and love how convenient the location is.

I and my 7 family members enjoyed Daniel Dunes very much. The location was quiet and uncrowded during the busy spring break season. Out the door it is about 800 feet to the beach. There are many toys, bikes, boards and other equipment to enjoy beach activities. The pool is very nice, there are lots of TVs and the beds are comfortable.. I have been to Destin many times and watched as prices for places have skyrocketed.I can say with certainty that Daniel Dunes is a very good value for your dollar.
